The King of Balkan is officially underway at Apollonia Hotel & Casino, with the €50,000 GTD Mystery Bounty kicking off the action.

The first two starting flights are now in the books, recording a combined 112 entries and re-entries, while 14 players have already secured their seats in Day 2 and a place in the money.

The Day 1A field attracted 65 entries and 22 re-entries, with 11 players surviving the flight and booking their spots in Day 2.

Later in the day, the Day 1B Turbo added another 20 entries and 5 re-entries, with just three players making it through to the next stage.

All 14 players have not only secured their place in Day 2, but are also already in the money. From here, the focus shifts to making a deep run and, of course, hunting down the valuable Mystery Bounties.

Main Event Tickets for the Bubble Players

Two players came agonisingly close to qualifying, but their efforts did not go unrewarded.

Nektarios Eleutheriadis, the Day 1A bubble player, and Nikolaos Grigoriadis, who finished on the bubble of Day 1B Turbo, each received a ticket to the next Balkan Poker Championship Main Event.
