The Balkan Poker Championship Festival at Apollonia Casino is underway, and Day 1A of Progressive Bounty event has already set the stage for an exciting week of poker action.

The opening flight attracted a strong turnout with 82 entries and 23 re-entries, generating a prize pool of €8,925. After several levels of intense competition, only 14 players managed to secure their seat for Day 2 ΙΤΜ, where they will continue their pursuit of glory, bounties, and a share of the prize pool.

Leading the survivors is Nikolaos Varsamopoulos, who bagged an impressive 496,000 chips, securing the top spot on the leaderboard after a dominant Day 1A performance.

Day 2 is scheduled for Wednesday at 14:00, when the survivors of Day 1A will be joined by qualifiers from the upcoming flight.
