The Progressive Bounty event at the Balkan Poker Championship Festival in Apollonia Casino came to an exciting conclusion, as Paschalis Pashos emerged as the winner, taking home €2.120!

Across Day 1A and Day 1B, the tournament attracted a total of 147 entries and 37 re-entries, building an impressive €24.840 prize pool.

A deal was reached among the four finalists, with each player securing €1,800 (excluding bounties). They continued to battle for the glory and an additional €640 on top.

Pashalis Pashos, after several fluctuations in his stack, eventually found himself heads-up against Sofoklis Chasiotis, holding a significant chip lead.

Before the duel began, the two players had already agreed to split the remaining €640, leaving only the trophy to play for.

Chasiotis managed to score a double-up with K-J suited against A-Q offsuit (with a king arriving on the river), but shortly after, once again very short-stacked, his J-7 couldn’t hold against Paschos’ A-8, sealing the outcome.
