The €350 BPC Main Event is officially underway at the Apollonia Poker Room, with the opening flight attracting 110 total registrations (81 entries + 29 re-entries).
From early in the day, Jim Davinci built a commanding stack and never looked back. By the end of Day 1A, Davinci had bagged an impressive 1,385,000 chips, enough to finish as the flight’s chip leader.
A total of 14 players advanced from Day 1A, while another three qualified through Day 1B Turbo, bringing the number of qualifiers from the first two flights to 17 players.
All players who qualify for Day 2 are automatically in the money (ITM), having already secured a minimum cash before returning to the tables for the next stage of the Main Event.
Players Can Keep Playing – Best Stack Counts.
An important feature of the BPC Main Event format allows players to enter as many Day 1 flights as they wish, even after qualifying for Day 2 and securing the ITM.
If a player qualifies through more than one Day 1 flight, only their best stack will be carried forward to Day 2, giving already-qualified players the opportunity to return and try to improve their position.
