The Balkan Poker Championship Festival at Apollonia Casino is underway, and Day 1A of the highly anticipated Progressive Bounty event has already set the stage for an exciting week of poker action.
The opening flight attracted a strong turnout with 85 entries and 25 re-entries, generating a prize pool of €9,350. After several levels of intense competition, only 13 players managed to secure their seat for Day 2 ΙΤΜ, where they will continue their pursuit of glory, bounties, and a share of the prize pool.
Leading the survivors is Konstantinos Maletsas, who bagged an impressive 825,000 chips, securing the top spot on the leaderboard after a dominant Day 1A performance.
Day 2 is scheduled for Wednesday at 14:00 (Greek time) / 13:00 (local time), when the survivors of Day 1A will be joined by qualifiers from the upcoming flight. With more players expected to enter, the prize pool and the competition are set to grow even further.
