The Balkan Poker Championship Festival at Apollonia Casino is underway, and Day 1A of the Progressive Bounty event has already delivered plenty of action to kick off the series.
The opening flight attracted a strong turnout with 98 entries and 31 re-entries, generating a total of 129 entries and creating an exciting atmosphere at the tables from the very first levels. After several hours of intense play, the field was reduced to 17 players, who secured their seat for Day 2 ITM and will return to continue the battle for the title, the bounties, and their share of the prize pool.
Leading the survivors is Konstantinos Passos, who bagged an impressive 700,000 chips, securing the top spot on the leaderboard after a dominant Day 1A performance.
Day 2 will take place on Wednesday at 14:00, when the survivors of Day 1A will return to the tables alongside the qualifiers from the upcoming starting flights. With more players expected to join the event, the prize pool and the competition are certain to grow.

The schedule begins at 14:00 with the SAT Progressive. Later in the afternoon, at 16:00, players will take their seats for Progressive Bounty – Day 1B, the second starting flight of the event.
The day will conclude at 20:00 with the Super Satellite to the Main Event, where players will have the chance to win their seat in the festival’s headline tournament.
